Fudge Violet Toning Shampoo, I love you. This is my holy grail purple shampoo. I have lost count how many times I've repurchased this shampoo. I've tried so many purple shampoos and none compare to this one. I run out and immediately purchase a new bottle.
It comes in a 300ml bottle, which lasts me for around 2-3 months. I use it about 2 times a week. It's RRP is $16.99 (AUD). This is cheap compared to other purple/violet shampoos which typically retail for over $20 in Australia. It's cheaper and better - what more could you ask for?!
It removes yellow tones very well. It gives my hair a silvery tint (beware: leave it on too long and your hair will look grey haha). My hairdresser always comments on how well I maintain my colour and I have this baby to thank! Whilst I won't say this purple shampoo is moisturising, it is much less drying compared to other brands. I don't need to slap on the conditioner like a mad woman after using this particular shampoo. Some other purple shampoos I've used have left my hair feeling like straw, but this one doesn't thankfully.
If you're blonde, you need to try this shampoo. Seriously.
Have you tried any Fudge products? What is your HG shampoo?
I haven't tried Fudge toning shampoo, it sounds great and appealing at that low price point. I've been using Matrix So Silver, love this stuff. I now buy it on ebay, a lot cheaper than the salon! :)
ReplyDeleteI have heard great things about Matrix's So Silver! I do love being able to buy this product at Priceline though :)
DeleteI'm the complete opposite of blonde, as I have jet black hair, but it's so interesting to see how a purple shampoo can combat brassiness! I'm planning on having balayage done soon (when I pluck up the courage!) and I'll definitely look into this shampoo. Great post!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how often I get asked, "Did you dye/change your hair?!" when I've only just toned it using this shampoo. It definitely makes a noticeable difference!
DeleteOkay, I am totally going to check this out! I use the John Freida range on my hair but I am always looking for good products for blondes :)
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely try it! Do let me know what you think of it too :)
